Contract Geologists

AGL is seeking applications from contract geologists to work out of our Yellowknife office for the next several months. The successful candidates will have at least 10 years experience managing advanced geological exploration projects in remote areas. They should have extensive experience exploring for IOCG-type deposits, and preference will be given to those candidates with experience working on proven deposits. 

Successful candidates will be familiar with core-logging, project planning and logistics and should be capable of writing clear, concise, literate technical reports. This is primarily a field position, but candidates should be prepared to work in a professional geological office environment, conducting geological research and/or writing technical reports. They should be physically fit, capable of sustained physical work in remote and rugged areas under challenging climatic conditions, and be prepared to travel extensively on short notice. Successful applicants should be prepared to relocate to Yellowknife.
