Project Manager - Geophysics - Yellowknife

Based in our Yellowknife office and reporting to the branch Operations Manager,  the Project Manager - Geophysics would be responsible for:

• The design and execution of geophysical survey programs for mineral exploration and geotechnical applications.
• The processing and interpretation of ground and airborne potential field, electromagnetic, induced polarization, seismic and GPR data.
• Preparation of technical reports including National Instrument 43-101 qualifying reports.
• Organization, supervision and administration of 1 to 5 field crews
• Client relations including sales, marketing and ongoing project support.

The successful candidate will require the following:

• B.Sc. in Geophysics or Geophysics & Geology
• 5 years experience including field experience in running, processing and interpreting the results from potential field, EM and IP surveys; additional experience with seismic or GPR an asset.
• Registered or eligible to be registered as a Professional Geophysicist in NWT / Nunavut
• Possess a sound understanding of mineral exploration and mineral deposit geology as it pertains to geophysical exploration
• Competent with Geosoft Oasis and modelling software (Emigma experience an asset).
• Solid writing skills and a demonstrated ability to conduct data processing and prepare reports within fixed time lines and budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and supervise field crews
